About SIMO Energy

Engineering, Procurement & Construction for Africa's Clean Energy Transition.

SIMO Energy is an EPC company headquartered in Nouakchott, Mauritania, established in May 2026. We develop, engineer, procure, construct, and deliver renewable-energy and power-infrastructure projects across utility, commercial, industrial, and residential segments — covering solar, wind, energy storage, and grid connection infrastructure.

SIMO Energy

Who We Are

SIMO Energy develops, engineers, procures, constructs, and delivers renewable-energy and power-infrastructure projects across utility, commercial, industrial, and residential segments — covering solar, wind, energy storage, and connection to the public grid infrastructure.

Although newly established, SIMO Energy is built on the combined experience, technical depth, and supply-chain strength of an international company group. Together with strategic partner companies in the Middle East and China — and a broad network of partners across Europe, the United States, Canada, and China — SIMO Energy brings world-class technology, competitive procurement, financing pathways, and proven execution capability together in a single point of contact for its clients.

For very large utility and national projects, SIMO Energy acts as main contractor, engaging major international EPC and EPCF companies as subcontractors — letting clients work with a single accountable partner while benefiting from the scale and resources of the world's largest contractors.

Our Story

Our Story

SIMO Energy was established in May 2026 — but it was not built from scratch. The company was founded on the combined experience, technical depth, and supply-chain relationships of an international group with a proven track record across the Middle East, Asia, and Europe, bringing that capability directly to West Africa.

From day one, SIMO Energy operates with access to established procurement relationships with world-leading manufacturers in China, technical expertise spanning multiple continents, and financing pathways through its international partner network — including PalizSolar's relationships with leading EPCF firms in China for large-scale utility and national projects.

Today, SIMO Energy is the West Africa platform of the HelioVolt international network — combining local presence in Mauritania with global commercial and technical resources to serve developers, governments, development agencies, and industrial clients across the region.

Vision

To be a leading engineering, procurement, and construction partner for the clean-energy transition across Africa, the Middle East, and beyond — bridging advanced technology, capital, and execution to accelerate access to reliable, sustainable energy.

Mission

To design, procure, and build reliable, cost-effective, and sustainable energy solutions by combining our own EPC expertise with the manufacturing strength, technical know-how, and project experience of our international group and worldwide partners.

Why SIMO Energy

We know West Africa.

Most energy companies can handle straightforward grid-connected systems. We specialize in projects that require real knowledge of West Africa's logistics, regulatory environments, grid realities, and community dynamics — from utility-scale plants in Mauritania to off-grid microgrids across the Sahel.

We are backed by a global network.

As part of the HelioVolt international network, SIMO Energy clients gain access to procurement relationships with world-leading manufacturers in China and Europe, technical expertise across multiple continents, and AI-powered monitoring and optimization capabilities.

We are vendor-neutral where it counts.

Our consultancy and procurement advisory services are fully independent. Our recommendations are always driven by what is right for the project and the client — not by margin.

We understand multilateral financing.

Our team has deep experience structuring projects to align with World Bank, AfDB, and other multilateral financing frameworks — making it easier to move from technically sound projects to funded, bankable ones.

We build local capacity.

We are committed to developing West Africa's renewable energy workforce and industrial base. Our projects prioritize local employment, skills transfer, and where possible, local assembly and manufacturing partnerships.

We think long-term.

Renewable energy infrastructure lasts 25–30 years. We design, procure, and advise accordingly — and many of our clients work with us across multiple projects because of it.

Our Values

Local Commitment

We are not parachuting into West Africa. We have built real presence, real relationships, and real experience in Mauritania and the Sahel — and we are invested in the region's long-term energy development.

Technical Integrity

We give honest technical advice even when it is not what a client wants to hear. Our reputation is built on the quality of our engineering judgment — not on selling the most expensive solution.

Commercial Transparency

Our clients know how we work and what we earn. No hidden markups, no undisclosed manufacturer relationships, no conflicts of interest between our consultancy and our supply business.

Community Impact

Energy access is a development imperative in West Africa. We measure success not just in MW delivered, but in communities powered, jobs created, and local capacity built.

Long-Term Thinking

Renewable energy infrastructure lasts 25–30 years. Every decision we make — in design, procurement, and construction — is made with that timeline in mind.

Innovation Through Collaboration

Through the HelioVolt network's partnerships with Queen Mary University of London and AI capabilities through AIRoundTable, we bring research-grade thinking to real-world energy challenges.

Let's build your next energy project together.
