SIMO Energy's Smart Transformer Station is a compact, prefabricated medium-voltage solution housed in a 20-foot HC ISO container, integrating an oil-immersed transformer, LV panel, and Ring Main Unit (RMU) for utility-scale solar and energy storage applications across West Africa and the Sahel. Engineered for high-temperature performance in extreme desert conditions, it supports up to 9,000 kVA AC power output at elevated ambient temperatures with a rated voltage range of 10–35 kV, making it ideal for off-grid rural electrification and microgrid projects in remote ECOWAS regions. The station features smart real-time monitoring and remote control capabilities, enabling energy independence and reliable power management in dust-prone environments where sand and dust resistance is critical. Optional natural ester vegetable oil provides enhanced environmental protection and fire safety for sustainable energy infrastructure in West African communities.
