The SIMO Energy Smart Transformer Station is a compact, prefabricated medium-voltage solution housed in a 20-foot HC ISO container, integrating an oil-immersed transformer, LV panel, and Ring Main Unit (RMU in a single pre-tested assembly—ideal for utility-scale solar and energy storage applications across West Africa and the Sahel. Built for high-irradiance environments, it supports up to 9,000 kVA AC power output at 40°C with a rated output voltage range of 10–35 kV, making it well-suited for remote off-grid installations, rural electrification projects, and microgrid deployments in challenging desert conditions. The station features smart real-time monitoring, remote control capabilities, and optional natural ester vegetable oil for enhanced environmental protection, fire safety, and durability in extreme heat and dust-prone regions. Designed for energy independence across the ECOWAS region, this solution accelerates solar energy access in remote West African communities while maintaining optimal high-temperature performance.
