SIMO Energy's Smart Transformer Station (STS) is a fully integrated, containerized power conversion solution designed for utility-scale solar and energy storage projects across West Africa and the Sahel, available in 3MW, 7MW, and 11MW configurations. Housed in a compact 20-foot HC ISO container, this pre-wired, pre-tested unit combines low-voltage panels, ring main units, and oil-immersed transformers to deliver reliable performance in high-temperature, dusty environments typical of off-grid rural electrification and microgrid deployments. The station features advanced protection systems, smart closed-loop control, and SF6-free options to ensure safety and environmental compliance in remote ECOWAS regions. Ideal for solar energy projects requiring rapid deployment, minimal on-site assembly, and maximum energy independence in challenging West African climates.
